Kim Hyun Joong Debut Album Reaches Gold

Singer Kim Hyun Joong’s debut album achieved Gold status in Japan.

The January million single/album released by the Recording Industry Association of Japan on February 10 shows his debut single album “Kiss Kiss / Lucky Guy” released on January 25 to reached gold status.

Gold status is given to an artist who sells over 100,000 copies. This milestone is significant for the fact that he achieved this feat in two weeks of its release. Also on the day of the album’s release it sold 71,812 copies, ranking at number two on the Oricon Singles Chart.

Kim Hyun Joong held a concert ‘Kim Hyun Joong Debut Album Event Premium Live 2012’ in Yokohama Arena with 20,000 fans.
